One of the Grand Forks thrift stores (the ARC) has a Singer Touch & Sew #603e, in a cabinet, with many attachments, and two instruction books. One booklet is for normal sewing with all the cams (two different sets) and attachments, and one booklet is for using the machine's special attachments to do "chain stitching." I read the book, quickly, but didn't understand everything.
The machine was marked "works" but I did not have time to try it. It is in a large cabinet with two deep drawers to the left. It has a foot pedal, knee control, presser feet, several bobbins, the chain-stitch bobbin cover and related hook/doo-dads, a binder attachment, etc.
Is this something you would want? It is marked $100.
If I have time after my dental appt. today, I'll try to get better photos. This one is from the web.
