Just lay them out on the floor. You will also need to cut triangles to put along the edge. How long are the sides on the blocks? For example if the blocks are 12 1/2 inches along the side you will need to cut 12 7/8 in. squares to make the triangles out of for the sides. If that seems overwhelming 13 in. might work too and cut those in half diagonally.
