I also recognize several of those fabrics. I think Luana's quilt is beautiful and the easiest answer for using these blocks. I think the on-point setting is very striking. Or, cutting the squares would make modern looking designs. Remember you look at the squares with 'different eyes' than the original maker. Fun opportunity for a small amount of cost.
