This ruler is like a regular ruler but the 7/8 measurement is highlighted. No need to count all the 1/8 marks. The video explains the ruler's markings. I learned to sew hsts using the exact cut measurement. No trimming needed. I don't have the patience for unneeded work. I used this ruler for all hsts, now I use die cuts.
