Hey, garment sewing is easy too. I sewed garments for a long time before quilting. You'll do fine. Doo just as these other ladies have suggested. Don't worry about putting interfacing in the waist band. Your pattern will have instructions. If you get stuck look on youtube. You can find how to do anything there.
