Sometimes being cheap ends up being costly!
Much as I dislike buying a pattern or a specialty ruler -
There are times it ends up costing a lot less to just part with the money and buy the pattern/instructions and the tool(s) needed to make the item.
It can also save quite a bit of time - and - possibly - quite a bit of aggravation and frustration.
