I'm making my son a dinosaur quilt for his 3rd birthday (in July), I hope I get it done in time! It's this book: http://pickledish.kcstar.com/?q=node/387 all done by hand, except the piecing and 3D body parts. I haven't decided yet if I'll quilt it by hand or machine, or have it done for me.

I'm working on the 5th of 8 dinosaurs (you can see freezer paper on a horn of Triceratops), and will put all the final touches on when I'm done with the appliques. Haven't even attempted the words in the borders yet, as they (and the sashing) will be done with scraps from making the blocks.

The three dinosaurs I haven't even started are T-Rex, Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus... they're either huge or have a lot of machine sewing (for fins and such).
