I remember all too well .... the not too clean home and the no sewing done .... and a kitchen that I just saw long enough to make those three squares a day.
For the longest time my only sewing was ... mending work clothes and shortening worn men's workpants. He had quite an extensive summer work shorts wardrobe as a result. I always loved summer laundry ... more clothes in the laundry and further between the need to do!!!
Gosh, your kids are out early. School here runs thru to the end of June, then back after Labour Day.
