Making a queen size for my daughter's queen size sleighbed--she did not want it covering the side rails and with head and foot board it didn't need to hang over the end much either. We measured and 83" in width was what she wanted and making about 90" in length. With my quest room I use about the same size on a queen size and use a bedskirt--works fine.
