I did that, too. I bought some men's suit jackets and a couple of women's wool knit sweaters. Put them in my washer with a little detergent, washed them with hot water, and then dried them on the hottest setting. I will cut them apart now. I got the sweaters for 50 cents and the jackets for $5. Using new wool is so cost prohibitive. I'd appreciate hearing anyone's sources of wool.
