Snow flakes sound great. Its very cute and will be much enjoyed I am sure. Also you could hand embroider if you do this down the sides a scroll design going through only the top layer which isnt hard to do and pull down with french knots every so often to give it the tucked quilt look on both sides.. Using 3 strands of thread so it stands out more.
