If it is getting old so you can't use it to sew with it does that mean that you shouldn't use mono on a quilt that you may want to last more than 30 years or so? I would expect most quilts would last 30 years with regular thread. It seems that if it gets old on the spool it would get old in a quilt and snap too. Just wondering. I don't want to use it if we can't prove it will last a bit. Would hate to make a quilt and have all that mono break.
