I got the Sizzix Big Shot Pro. It can accept the Accuquilt Go Dies (but not the new Accuquilt Go Big). It can also accept Accuquilt Studio Dies that are 12 inches wide or less. It costs between $319 (on sale at Joann's now) and $350. Versus $250 for the Accuquilt Go and $600 for the Accuquilt Studio.

It is NOT portable. It needs a dedicated space. I invested in the Ebony Love book: The Big Little Book of fabric die cutting tips. It was great. It compares the Accuquilt Go baby, Accuquilt Go, Sizzix Big Shot, Sizzix Big shot Pro and the Accuquilt Studio. It also has great tips on die cutting in general. I find the book well worth the investment. Unfortunately it appears to be out of print now. Hope I never misplace mine. I used it to research die cutters and then I continue to use it for the tips. It has a great section for the Sizzix Big shot pro to tell you what adaptors you need to use other systems dies.
