I once did calligraphy sayings around the wall close to the ceiling in our dining room. What worked best for me was to pick a font on the computer and enlarge it to fill the space I needed. Print it out. I would re-trace on tracing paper using a frixion pen or pencil, so the printer ink doesn't transfer to the fabric, just in case. The spacing and letter formations are perfect.
