I LOVE my Sizzix Big Shot!!! I tried my friends Accuquilt Go and I personally hate it. I discovered the GO cranks a little harder than the Sizzix. I also like my Sizzix having a full flat bottom surface, whereas the Go has partial with rollers in the middle. I like the sales and clearance on dies at Sizzix, a WHOLE lot cheaper than Accuquilt dies for sure. I do mainly applique. I also love the fact that I can use most ALL of other makers dies. The reason is the Sizzix is thick dies and others do not. I have purchased some of the GO dies and they work beautifully as long as you use a shim (I used two pieces of cardboard). But I do have to add that the Big Shot will only work with dies that are 5 or 5 1/2 inches wide. I may just get the new Big Shot Plus later, as it has an 11 inch wide opening. The price of the Go dies are very expensive. This is just my take on both machines. Good luck....
