Here's what you did. ..you apparently wanted to make 3 charity quilts and made 2. Call it great, donate the quilts or tops or whatever, stick the 3 finished blocks into an "orphan top" quilt and go on with life. Don't even think about it again.
It was a charity quilt--are you are under any obligation to make charity quilts? Most of us do them because we want to. If your "want to" has fled, it's fine.
Go on to do something you want to do.
