I was interested in using bamboo batting (particularly the Dream Orient blend), but then read up about it and learned that it is processed using very harsh chemicals, which are not environmentally or worker friendly. This also goes for organic bamboo; the 'organic' refers to how it is grown, not to the processing. While it would be possible to mechanically process the bamboo, the expense makes it prohibitive. After learning this, it lost some of its appeal, so I went with the Hobbs silk batting instead.
