Okay, that explains a lot! Google couldn't help me at all with this model & s/n. Now I know why! The man I bought it from said he would give me my money back if I didn't want it or if it didn't work. He told me he knew it needed a new belt and they were available. So, the Atlas case and pink foot pedal are certainly worth more than the machine, I suppose. Took pictures after I opened up the top of the machine, but I'm not sure I'll get them into this thread; might have to start a new post for that.
