Okay, most of you say not to use the walking foot for sewing and I think I will not use my walking foot for regular sewing. I need all the help I can get to have accurate 1/4" seams. This sewing machine I inherited is a very simple inexpensive machine and I want to keep everything in working order for a long time. Thanks to you all for the info.
