I always use bias cut binding on my quilts because they wear better and fit better. I leave a tail at the beginning that is about four inches of unsewn space. When I come back around the quilt I cut the binding-again on the angle direction to match the first tail. Slip the second tail into the first and mark with a pencil or other marking tool. Cut the second tail 1/2 inch from the marking line. Stitch together with a 1/4 inch seam and it fits perfectly. Finger press that seam open. Finish stitching the binding on.
