It was the Amazon Star pattern calling from the bookcase. Looked at kits--from $250 to $330 not counting the backing. whaaaa? Picked out all the fabrics in one fell swoop, threw in thread, and backing, and hit the button before I could change my mind. @23 yards of fabric, 3 yards of wide backing. Using the birthday exemption two months early.
