I was in a similar situation when I took quilting classes in 2000. Before I married in 1977, I made all my clothes. I inherited a young son when I married and we had two more sons. I didn't even consider sewing for them. Caring for them, keeping a home, and teaching school knocked my clothes-making right out the door. All I had done over the years was repairs. Now I enjoy buying fabric, although with health problems in the last few years, my quilting has been limited. Welcome from the beautiful mountains of western NC.
