Kenmore 385.1788 question
The zigzag on this machine is not stitching correctly. The needle will start in the correct position but then only does a jagged straight stitch. In the picture the yellow arrow is pointing to a spring, I think this spring may need to be hooked in the hole at the red arrow. The left side of the assembly is pulling but the right side is not pulling it back. (if that makes any sense). I do have an exploded diagram for this machine but its not real clear about this area. I have oiled everything and it all moves easily with my finger. Does anyone have this machine and can look to see how theirs is?
