I have been "threatening" to make my most unconventional son a bow tie quilt for years. (He is the kid who wore the black cowboy duster in high school, dresses as a pirate for Renaissance festivals (he is a photographer for these events) and is now in to viking reenactment.) He is sooooo not a bow tie guy but he does have a great sense of humor. Hummm....This might do. I could hide his eagle scout fabric, cub scout fabric and others in the quilt just for fun along with cameras, cats, books, Route 66. Can you tell I am really warming up to this thought.
