Yes, occasionally, if I am selling the quilt or entering it into a show and I want to provide accurate measurements. Yes, the finished quilt is somewhat smaller than the quilt top was, but it is not significant enough for me to have any concerns about covering a person or a bed, or being displayed. It might be .75" shorter and .50" narrower on a long-twin size than it was before quilting and washing.
