It depends on your machine. Most should be able to take a double needle with a walking foot. I can do it with my Bernina. But if it has a side-loading bobbin, and the hook is sitting in there sideways, then no. Like a Juki TL Series machine wouldn't be able to take a double needle. Or some side-loading, vintage machines have the hook sitting sideways. Front-loading and top-loading machines can take a double needle with a walking foot.
