What a marvel the sewing machine is. The one I have that blows me away the most is my 1908 Singer model 66 treadle. It's so well made and beautifully broken in. It goes "tickety, tickety, tickety" when it sews and sounds like music! The bobbin winder reminds me of precision clockwork. It's one of my precious treasures!
