I use mine on ZZ machines too.
Also looked at my model YS-7004. Looks like the OPs but doesn't have the plates. Instead it has a size setting lever for 3/8", 1/2", 6/8", 7/8" and 1" positions. I haven't used it yet as I typically need 5/8"... hmm... just thinking it makes no sense to say 6/8" and I'm thinking they meant to type 5/8". It's also logical, as 5/8" is a common size. Guess what I'm getting up to do right now...
EDIT: Yes, 5 makes a 5/8" buttonhole, and a really nice one, too. They just missed it out in the instructions.
