I am so thankful for all the help that you all gave me. THEY WORKED! I am so excited. (Yes I know it doesn't take much to excite me). I loosened the tension and put the spool in a cup and applied the safety pin to the machine. There are no more loops and skipped stitches and the thread doesn't break anymore!
