I bought an electric sharpener just for rotary blades, but it doesn't really work very well. In fact, the more I tried to sharpen the blade, the duller it became. I even changed the sharpening stones like it said in the directions. First used the coarse stone and then switched to the fine stone. No luck. I saw of Youtube a video where a guy said the blades are made of hardened steel, and there's really no way to sharpen them well at home. (NOW he tells me! lol)
