The fabric is by P&B textiles. It's called Suede, 100% cotton. I found it at a QS in Michigan's UP and bought what was left on the bolt, 9 1/2 yards. It looks like a tea stained piece of fabric...... perfect for this quilt. Originally I thought I'd use a dark color but I was afraid the flowers and baskets wouldn't show up.
Do try stuffing some of your applique. It gives the picture such a real look. And please post it when you finish....love to see others applique work on here.
