If you have a McDonald House in your area, they are always glad to get quilts. Someone mentioned Police and Fire Dept's. Our guild gives to them also.

I didn't know for a long time after joining Guild that there are children in our midst who ended up at the Police Dept.,because their parents can't care for them any longer, or don't want to. It is very sad to me.

Abused Women shelters are also glad to get quilts. I learned all of this after joining Guild.
