How do you value quilts for charity???
Consider donating to homeless shelters, or a thrift store that contributes their profits to certain charities. I haven't donated quilts but I do make pet beds for the local animal shelter. And they seem appreciative of anything I have given, from towels to pet beds to cleaning supplies.
