Love the embroidery!!!
I like your latest version....more delicate looking. The other print, while pretty, was just too heavy in scope.
The light pink border still isn't cutting it for me....I think it's the solid. Right now, for some reason, my eye is drawn to that light pink border. I think it's the contrast between the dark pink and the light pink that draws the eye there instead of the interior.
Whatever you use for the outer border, the eye needs to skim over the borders and land on the embroidery. Thus, not a lot of contrast between borders, IMO.
What about a delicate pink on pink? Or something in a delicate grey marble? Or something with just a hint of black (or grey) in the print? Whatever it is, it needs to be delicate and light so that it doesn't over power the beautiful embroidery.
It should be lighter than the rosebud in overall feel, but stronger than the current light pink solid. The two solids together don't work. If you're going to use the dark pink border (which is absolutely wonderful - right color, right width) then you need a non-solid for the outer border, imo.
Good luck with it! It's going to be wonderful!!
