This is my 8th Bargello, and this one was really really complex. Just barely worth it, though I do like the results. If you are looking for a good "beginning" Bargello, you might try Surf Song by Eileen Wright. It is in her book, Twist and Turn Bargellos. There are ten patterns in the book, and she even has a place mat that breaks the whole process down really well, so a quilter can fully understand the process before jumping into something bigger.
