Well, ladies (and gents), here's the new miniquilt/calendar hanger the my DH made for me! It's just lovely, isn't it?

We stapled small velcro dots onto the wood in the corners and I sewed the matching dot to the back of the quilt. There are white hooks to hang the calendar from, and a small eye hook at the bottom to hold a ribbon-tied pen.

It's exactly what I was hoping for -- all made from scrap bits of molding and 3/8" plywood. I'm so jazzed! :thumbup: :thumbup:

And my "January" quilt came out pretty good, too, I think. The mitten is 3-dimensional, which is kinda fun...
