Thank you. I was hoping it would be ok to do it that way. I have always heard that you should leave all the paper on until the top was completed but doing a quilt this size I started looking at it and thinking,'what would it hurt if I took out the center pieces?' Sounds like I will be ok and I'm happy about that.
