I love your quilt. I haven't made a Snail's trail, but always admire how the quilts others have made turn out when they do one. I have got to move it up closer on my bucket list.

I am learning EQ....lol have been for several years. How did you decide what the block was? I am having trouble seeing it. Oh....I think I am getting it. Did you use a sashing with cornerstones for the diamond parts, then a simple Snail's trail as the rest? One thing EQ has forced me to do is to learn how to figure out the blocks that I want to try to draw.

Thanks for showing us what can be done with such a great program like EQ!

Edited to add: No need to reply, my assumptions were correct. I really like the way the secondary patterns look in this quilt. And the blocks aren't that hard. Imagine that. If it's too complicated a block, I am not going to even attempt it, but this one is doable. Thanks again!!!!
