Try the different methods given and find what works for you. Oversize is the best way to go for accurate squares. Personally I use the June Taylor method and ruler. Do a search on u-tube for June Taylor half square triangle. When I trim my squares with the ruler I also get rid of the dog ears. Quick and easy.
