Ok...vintage sewing machine keepers....should I listen or not?
I was at a favorite quilt shop recently and found a shiny featherweight calling my name. It was made in 1953 my birth year. It had been tuned up too. We chatted for a while and I promised it I'd come back and visit it again if it was still there.
Now my questions are...
How many of you actually use your feather weight frequently or do you use them for show? What types of projects do you use it for? Are they pretty sturdy or touchy with tension etc.?
Your input will be considered in my choice.
