You know Steve, that sort of makes sense. The power polisher would help combat a too much wax problem with sheer speed and revolutions... I will try with a little less and see if I can get a better shine.

Probably Canada Day (July 1) now. Should I try to strip what's there so I have a clean canvas to start with? Probably with Naptha? Is it really a polish til your arm falls off then continue with the other arm, or is that a symptom of too much wax too? This weekend with the trailer it was a polish til you get hit in the sternum with the polisher as it kicks back and knocks you off the step ladder, so I don't have a lot in me at the moment - so if I do need to put that sort of energy into it, it might be DH or a little later still in the week. It usually does look like most people are relatively "effortless" with it though.
