OK, I'll have to take a closer look at the cabinet when we go back out there. He took the machine out of the cabinet and brought it home. Does each motor have two separate boxes? This had the motor box and then another box and then the pedal. My husband swears that the second box had a rod that came out and pushed the treadle somehow. Maybe he's mistaken since he's not familiar with sewing machines. This is one of the machines we found in my mother-in-law's shed after she passed away.
