I have memories of going to the Maine coast, eating lobster and corn on the cob, swimming in my Aunt's pool and the cold Atlantic Ocean, checking my skin to see if I was getting a tan, eating pineapple upside-down cake, seeing fireworks while feeling the slight tinge of a minor sunburn.
