Ok, I have the idea down on how to make this type of scarf with multiple layers of flannel. You can use 5 layers, sew down the length of them every 1/2 inch or so, then carefully cut the first 2 layers on each side (for a double sided one)...BUT the big question, since you do want it to rag some, do you wash the flannel first? Have all the flannel, but now not sure about this aspect of construction. Any one with experience in making these that can shed some light on my dilemma?
