I took it apart again. no oval holes, dratz. I looked at the bottom and the bar that the feed dog is attached too. well I don't know if I did right but I loosened some bolt and forced the feed dog arm over a hair. it seemed to work. the feed dog does not rub now. this I did after I was done sewing.
