I am laying one rectangle over the other at a 90* angle (like when you join binding strips) sewing the 45*and trimming off the extra. I believe MadQuilter said the name was Twist and Shout from the Jan/Feb 2006 Quiltmaker magazine. It had instructions for 2 sizes, 3X9 or 2X5 inch rectangles. The 3X9 would work into a quilt top faster but the smaller size will allow me to use up mores scraps.
