Is there only 1 babylock tech nearby or also handiquilter because it is made by handiquilter and I would imagine they could also service the machine since it is the same as the avante. Maybe they have a more knowledgable tech. If she has been doing it professionally and really knows the machine than I would think it may need to be serviced with those constant problems, but you need a knowledgable tech or there is no point in investing in a machine you can't have serviced well
