Default Hello from Northern Utah!

Howdy!! I've posted a couple of times on different threads but felt I should probably introduce myself. I'm a 34 year old wife and homeschooling mother of 6 (one of them a Saint in Heaven) who, once upon a time, considered herself quite crafty. You'd think being a homeschooling mom would have increased my creative side, but it's kind of been pushed aside (that's ok, this is just a season in my life where more focus is on them and their needs than on my own. I'm fine with that!). However, the older I get, the more I realize that maybe I would really like to start quilting, or at least have my girls learn the art. My grandmother is a FABULOUS quilter and each bed in our home has been blessed with her handy work. Quilting seams like such a lost art, that I think it would be wonderful for me and/or my girls to carry on with the creativity that my grandmother has and has used to bless so many people. I think I'll learn quite a bit here, plus be around some amazing women too!
