I promised my nieces and nephews a while back that I would make them a quilt by their next birthday. I started with a Tinkerbell quilt for one niece in March (

Now it's my niece, Astor's turn. She wanted a TMNT quilt. I found some free PP patterns online for the turtles to put in the cornerstone. I outlined the eyes in the masks with glow in the dark thread as an added treat for her. I also took a TMNT coloring page and used that as the quilting design in the border. Then, I paper-pieced a larger version of her favorite turtle, Mikey, and made her a quilted pillow to go with her new blankie.
