I have a 117.740 (the green one) in the same cabinet. I can send you scans of old Sears catalog pages from the 1950's selling that machine. Pretty cool. I also have the owner's manual for the 841 which is essentially the same machine. (that's probably the pinkish one Quincunx was speaking of - I have that one too!!) They were both made by Gritzner Kaiser in W. Germany. They were Sears' first zig zag machines. Please PM me if you want to know more.
The 841 (my avatar) is my main machine, I do my FMQ on the 740.
